This Week in America reimagines the breaking-news cycle as interactive, digital collages. As someone who is perpetually online and has a vested interest in staying current on politics, trends and culture-shifting moments, I started creating an interactive news concept. This is a one stop shop for staying in the know and in the now without having to comb through tons of different new sites to gather information. The collages act as visual summaries so you can get context quick—from political decisions to viral memes.

Users can interact with these visual collages to open and close a summary of events each week. By highlighting the most breaking news stories, users are able to quickly understand current events and then select their preferred news outlet to read in-depth and get focused opinions.
